Arsene Wenger's 1,000th game: Wenger 'privileged' by landmark

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels he would not have made it to the milestone of his 1,000th game in charge if the club had not always supported him.

Wenger says he feels "privileged" to have been at Arsenal for such a period of time and hopes, once he leaves, that the club will be bigger than when he arrived.

The Frenchman's landmark match comes against Premier League leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with four points separating the two teams in the table.
