Sean O'Driscoll: Bristol City's Jon Lansdown defends sacking
Bristol City vice-chairman Jon Lansdown insists departing head coach Sean O'Driscoll was given enough time at the club to prove himself.
O'Driscoll and the club parted company on Thursday after 10 months, with the side 22nd in League One.
Last month, City ended their run of 22 games without a league win, and they have lost just once in their last five matches.
But speaking to BBC Points West, Lansdown says their position in the table dictated O'Driscoll's exit.
