Michael Kightly reveals dash for scanner to seal Burnley move

Michael Kightly tells BBC Radio Lancashire that he was caught out by the speed of his move from Stoke City to Burnley.

The winger needed the help of his partner's family to scan a copy of his contract and complete his season-long loan to Turf Moor with around three minutes of the transfer window remaining.

Kightly adds that being reunited with Burnley boss Sean Dyche, a manager he worked under at Watford, was a key factor in his decision to join the Clarets.
