Confident Arsenal please Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says his team were "in control" and deserved to win 3-1 against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Gunners went ahead through an Olivier Giroud strike before Lukas Podolski scored in each half to secure the victory. A debut goal for substitute Darren Bent would prove to be just a consolation for Fulham.

Wenger went on to say the "confidence factor" was very important to his team, but confirmed no new signings were imminent.
