Girls and goals a big hit in Northern Ireland

The Northern Ireland Women's FA is currently halfway through its league season with a record 50 teams now playing each week.

Cheryl Lamont, manager of the Glentoran Belfast United team, outlined the structure of the league while Caragh Milligan, who made her senior international debut at 15, spoke about her ambitions in the game.

Alfie Wylie, the IFA's national coach, said great strides had been made but that clubs could do more to promote the women's game.
