Stoke deserve more credit - Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says their next opponents Stoke City "don't get the credit they deserve" for the way they play.

Stoke's draw at Tottenham extended their unbeaten streak to eight games and they are currently ninth in the Premier League, one place behind Liverpool heading into their Boxing Day clash.

The Reds boss also says the 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa could be Liverpool's "most important result of the season".
