Sol Campbell urges Arsenal to invest in 'better players'

Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell believes the fans are not going to accept another season without a trophy unless the owners invest in "better players".

Despite a poor start to the season they have enjoyed a recent run of good form, winning nine out of their last 10 Premier League games and sitting third in the table.

But since winning the 2005 FA Cup, Arsene Wenger's men have gone seven years without winning a single trohpy.

Campbell says the club has to "swallow its pride" and pay more for "better players" if they are going to challenge for trophies next season and appease the fans.
