Formula 1: Bahrain GP row explained

BBC Sport reporter Dan Roan explains the debate surrounding the possible cancellation of this month's Bahrain Grand Prix.

Last year's event was cancelled following unrest in the Gulf state and, despite Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone's assurances on Tuesday, the race could still be called off.

Unlike last year, the Bahrain authorities seem unlikely to cancel the race themselves, so the decision rests with the FIA this time.

The teams are due to meet Ecclestone in China over the coming days.
