Dalglish credits players for win over Blackburn

Kenny Dalglish says he "players should get all the credit they deserve" following a testing period for the Liverpool manager after his out-of-form side picked up three points with a 3-2 win at Blackburn Rovers despite having goalkeeper Alexander Doni red-carded in the first half.

Doni's replacement Brad Jones, who had not appeared in the Premier League since May 2009, then saved Yakubu's resultant penalty - a moment Dalglish describes as "fantastic", with Andy Carroll's late header earning the reds victory.

The Liverpool manager will now turn his attentions to Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with arch-rivals Everton at Wembley, anticipating it will be a "fantastic day" for both clubs.
