Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger praises tenacious display

Arsene Wenger praises the "spirit and determination" of his Arsenal team after they show great "tenacity" to hold on to an important 1-0 victory over Manchester City at the Emirates.

Wenger's side now sit two points above Tottenham in third place, and with six games left the Frenchman believes the Gunners have a "good chance" of securing Champions League football next season.

In an entertaining encounter at the Emirates, City striker Mario Balotelli was sent off for a challenge on Bacary Sagna moments after Mikel Arteta's late strike, which Wenger describes as a "bad tackle".
