Gareth Southgate cautious on St George's Park success

Gareth Southgate, FA's head of elite development, says "there is no guarantee" the new National football centre at St George's Park will bring success to the English game.

The £100m complex in Staffordshire will be a training base for England's 24 different teams and is intended to boost the number of quality coaches and homegrown managers.

However, Southgate admits there is a limit as to how much the FA can develop youth football as the Premier League currently run the academy system with the Football League.
