John Terry is coping fine insists Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard insists England captain John Terry is "coping fine" - despite facing a police inquiry over an alleged racist remark and being dropped to the bench for Saturday's friendly against Spain.

Lampard, who will wear the captain's armband in Terry's absence, praises the "fantastic" defender for his "strong character" during a difficult period in his career.

The Chelsea midfielder adds that leading the team out at Wembley will be his "proudest moment" and urges England to believe that they can beat World Cup winners Spain.
