Mick McCarthy derides Wolves fans who want him sacked

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy insists he's doing a "great job" and hits back at the fans who called for him to be sacked during the draw against Swansea.

The former Sunderland manager wants to ensure the fans that booed and jeered do not get any credit for galvanising his team and inspiring them to come back from 2-0 down.

Speaking ahead of Wolves Carling Cup tie against Man City on Wednesday McCarthy is adamant he has the backing of his players and staff and thanks those supporters who've contacted him with messages of support.
