Bolton manager Owen Coyle heaps praise an an "outstanding" performance from Chris Eagles after the midfielder's goal seals a 3-1 win away at Wigan Athletic moves Wanderers out of the relegation zone.

Nigel Reo-Coker opened the scoring before Mohamed Diame levelled things only for David Ngog's first goal for the club and Eagles' late strike brought Bolton their first points since the opening day of the season.

The win ends a run of six successive League defeats and sees them up to 17th in the table, leap-frogging their Lancashire rivals.
