Alan Pardew says Joey Barton Twitter row could be resolved
Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew says that Joey Barton could still have a future at the club. He says the situation following comments on Twitter could "change quickly".
Pardew thinks football clubs need to get to grips with Twitter and other forms of social media and that players should not criticise their clubs , adding that a club like Newcastle needs everyone pulling in the same direction.
Barton has been placed on the transfer list following a tweet which criticised the Newcastle board, following which he was made to train on his own and fined two weeks wages.
