Burghley Horse Trials: Michael Jung of Germany wins title

Germany's Olympic champion Michael Jung has won the Burghley Horse Trials aboard La Biosthetique Sam, finishing 1.5 points ahead of New Zealand's Tim Price on Ringwood Sky Boy.

The 33-year-old is the first German to win the Lincolnshire event - and is already the only rider in history to hold Olympic, world and European titles at the same time.

Tina Cook, on Star Witness, was eighth, while fellow Briton William Fox-Pitt was back in 10th on Fernhill Pimms.
