Paralympic sport inspires Irish sprinter Jason Smyth

Irish sprinter Jason Smyth says Paralympic sport is a way of inspiring people with disabilities and without.

The 28-year-old cemented his status as the world's fastest para-athlete after winning a 100m race in Rio on Monday night, which was part of a festival to mark one year to the 2016 Paralympic Games.

"I've been able to do incredible things, have incredible experiences, represent my country, a number of incredible things that Paralympic sport gives people," said Smyth.
