Richard Whitehead hails impact of Paralympics on sport

Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead says the 2012 London Games have had a "sustained impact" on disability sport.

Whitehead, who won gold in the T42 200m, said the Paralympics highlighted that Great Britain has "some high-level achievers that are seen as athletes, not just Paralympic athletes".

He will be aiming to repeat his success at the IPC Athletics Grand Prix Final on Saturday in Birmingham.
