GB coach Chantal Petitclerc defends 'plastic' British athletes

British athletic team coach and mentor Chantal Petitclerc defends athletes who change their nationality to compete for Great Britain.

The 14-time Canadian Paralympic gold medallist is helping British athletes for the 2012 London Paralympics and says she has "no problem" with 'plastic' Brits as long as they are "here for the right reasons and want to do their best for this country".

The 41-year-old, who competed at five Paralympics before retiring after the 2008 Beijing Games, is working directly with Britain's wheelchair racers alongside her own former coach Peter Eriksson, who is UK Athletics' Paralympic head coach.
