Cavendish wins his 28th Tour stage

Mark Cavendish won stage three of the 2016 Tour de France stage after outsprinting Andre Greipel on the line in Angers.

Cavendish, who also won the first stage of this year's Tour, moves into joint second place in the overall rankings of stage winners, alongside French legend Bernard Hinault with 28 victories.

He timed his sprint to perfection, with his lunge past Greipel so close it had to go to a photo finish for confirmation.

Rob Hatch and Rob Hayles commentate.
