Britain's 2008 Olympic road race cycling champion Nicole Cooke says Lance Armstrong has "robbed" cyclists of their dreams, following allegations that he used drugs throughout his career.
Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and given a lifetime ban by the United States Anti-Doping Agency in August last year.
Cooke, 29, who announced her retirement from the sport on Monday, adds that Armstrong's alleged doping meant that others left the sport empty-handed despite their hard work.
The Welsh rider adds that she is "absolutely delighted" with her career and the changes she brought about in the sport.
