World Track Cycling: World record for GB women cyclists

Great Britain's women break the world record to win team pursuit gold against hosts Australia at the Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne.

The trio of Joanna Rowsell, Dani King and Laura Trott were second best early on in the final, but came through in a record three minutes 15.720 seconds.

It comes just a day after Great Britain's men also broke the world record to win the team pursuit gold medal.
