Trevor Bayliss: Paul Farbrace on England's 'excellent' new coach
Assistant coach Paul Farbrace backs Trevor Bayliss to succeed as England's new coach, saying he is an "excellent coach" who will bring a lot to the role.
Farbrace, in temporary charge following the sacking of Peter Moores, was speaking at Lord's on Monday, before Bayliss's appointment was confirmed on Tuesday.
Bayliss led Sri Lanka from 2007-2011, took temporary charge of Australia for their Twenty20 series in South Africa in 2014 and has coached Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.
Fabrace, who worked alongside Bayliss with Sri Lanka's national side and will stay on as his assistant, believes the 52-year-old Australian is an "old fashioned cricket coach" who has worked with "some of the best in the world".
