Alastair Cook: England must move on from Kevin Pietersen saga

England Test captain Alastair Cook says he did not issue an ultimatum to the England and Wales Cricket Board over the selection of Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen has been told he will not be considered for selection this summer, with reports suggesting Cook would have resigned had the batsman been recalled, but the Essex man insists that players were not consulted on the decision.

Cook describes former England coach Peter Moores as "a players' coach" and says he will be missed, but backs Andrew Strauss's decision-making in his new role as director of England cricket.
