Cricket World Cup 2015: Niall O'Brien confident for Pakistan game

Niall O'Brien believes Ireland can overcome Pakistan in their crucial Pool B showdown after he top scored in Tuesday's defeat by India in Hamilton.

O'Brien hit 72 for the Irish but they were beaten by eight wickets to leave their hopes hinging on Sunday's final pool game in Adelaide.

Ireland must beat Pakistan, who are also on six points, to guarantee a quarter-final place.

They will also reach the last eight if the match is tied or a result is not possible because of weather - or if West Indies fail to beat the United Arab Emirates on the same day.
