England women: Kate Cross ready for Ashes 'pinnacle' in Australia

Lancashire's Kate Cross says she is excited to get the chance to represent England in an Ashes series, which she describes as the "pinnacle" of any player's career.

Cross was included in the Test and one-day international squads for the upcoming tour of Australia, having impressed during a recent trip to the West Indies.

Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, the 22-year-old hopes an Ashes victory will strengthen the case for women's cricket to have a greater profile in England.
