The Ashes 2013-14: Runs on the board crucial - Chris Rogers

Australia batsman Chris Rogers says runs on the board are going to be "crucial" in the second Ashes Test in Adelaide.

Rogers scored 72 as Australia made an ominous start on the first day, before England fought back to restrict the hosts to 273-5 at the close of play.

The opener believes a first innings total of around 400 will give Australia's bowlers the opportunity to create chances against England's batsmen on day two.
