I was born to ride track - Wiggins

Sir Bradley Wiggins says that track cycling is "in his genes" and that his first childhood memory is of being inside a velodrome.

The 2012 Tour de France winner and Olympic gold medallist will not compete in the road events at the Commonwealth Games, concentrating instead on the team pursuit which takes place on Thursday.

Wiggins also says he is starting to turn his focus to the track prior to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
