Former world champion Wayne McCullough says Leo Santa Cruz will represent a tough challenge for Carl Frampton in their WBA featherweight title bout in New York on 30 July.
"Leo Santa Cruz is a tough guy. A three-time world champion in three divisions. This guy can fight. Carl is going out there with confidence. Hopefully he does but it is a tough fight," said the former WBC bantamweight champion and Olympic silver medallist.
McCullough, 45, added that he is optimistic that Belfast duo Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan can both win gold medals at the Olympics in Rio.
"I would love to train them in America. I really think both guys can go on and have great pro careers. I can make them world champions," added McCullough, who is home on holiday in Belfast.
