Amir Khan says Peterson result has damaged boxing

Former WBA and IBF world light-welterweight champion Amir Khan believes the integrity of boxing has been damaged following his controversial points loss to American Lamont Peterson.

Khan wants a rematch but is only interested in fighting for the WBA title having lost faith in the IBF.

The 25-year-old says his promoters have made Peterson an offer and believes the American's camp will respond within a week.
