World Championships: Shawnacy Barber takes Pole Vault gold in Beijing

Watch 'clinical' Canadian Shawnacy Barber take gold in a tightly-contested pole vault final.

Both Barber and nearest rival Raphael Holzdeppe of Germany failed to clear six metres after three attempts, meaning the 21 year-old secured first place on the podium courtesy of his earlier clearance of 5.90m at the first attempt.

World record holder Renaud Lavillenie had to settle for joint third, sharing bronze with the Polish pair of Piotr Lisek and Pawel Wojciechowski.
