Steve Cram watches David Rudisha dominate the 800m, Grenada's Kirani James cause an upset in the 400m and Jess Ennis miss out on gold on day four of the World Championships in Daegu.
Kenyan Rudisha clinched his first major title by leading from the off, then 18-year-old James stunned defending champion LaShawn Merritt on the home straight.
But disappointment in the javelin meant Ennis had to settle for silver behind Tatiana Chernova, who will challenge her for gold at London 2012.
