Sporting fixtures postponed because of riots

BBC sports editor David Bond on the knock-on affect the riots across England are having on sporting fixtures as a number of football matches are called off.

England's friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley on Wednesday has been postponed, as have a number of Tuesday's Carling Cup fixtures.

Speaking on the BBC News Channel, David Bond also discusses the potential implications for the London 2012 Olympic Games as several test events are set to take place in capital on Tuesday.
