Farah breaks 34-year British record
Mo Farah broke Dave Moorcroft's 34-year-old British 3,000 metres record in Birmingham to underline his form with the Rio Olympics two months away.
Roared on by a huge home support at the Diamond League meeting, Farah took a tenth of a second off the record - clocking seven minutes, 32.62 seconds.
Farah now holds British track records at 1500m, two miles, 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m, and half-marathon on the road.
"I was targeting it. I had to dig deep and I'm glad I got there," he said."
