A new Easter Marathon is to be run in Jersey for the first time next month.
The route will stretch from Gorey in the east of the island across the north coast and down St Ouen's Bay before finishing at Les Quennevais.
There will also be a half marathon and relay as part of the 19 April event.
"I want to try it this year as a low-key event and if it works well look to the future and see if it's something that can be expanded or carried on," organiser Digby Ellis Brecknell said.
The Jersey Marathon has been run every October since 2006 and covers a course that starts and finishes in St Helier via the west of the island.
