Cornwall Athletic Club's Ladies have been crowned national team champions at the London Marathon.
Naomi Tier, Emma Stallard and Suzy Bosustow finished in a cumulative eight hours 39 minutes 42 seconds, beating Belgrave Harriers by around 18 minutes.
Tier was the fastest of the three Cornish runners, crossing the line 413th overall, in a time of 2:48:32.
She said: "My targeted pace was to run under three hours, so I was over the moon to have run so fast."
Stallard was only marginally behind her team-mate, finishing the distance in 2:49:01.
"I am so pleased with my time after an Achilles tendon injury limited my training for a few weeks in February," said Stallard.
"This result means so much to us individually and it also means so much to Cornwall Athletic Club - it proves there are some very good runners in the county."
Bosustow completed the race in personal best, recording a time of 3:01:42.
She said: "Knowing Naomi and Emma were in front was a real incentive to keep going and I am so pleased that I did."
