Nolan Live - new season continues!

For topical debate, and a lively and engaging approach to the stories that matter most, you can always count on Stephen Nolan to set the airwaves buzzing.

Stephen's television series, Nolan Live, continues in its regular Wednesday evening slot on BBC One Northern Ireland - and you can be part of what’s happening.

Being a member of the audience in our Blackstaff Studio means that you'll be joining in a live broadcast as Stephen tackles some of the biggest stories of the week, asks all the difficult questions and highlights your concerns.

We want to provide an opportunity for as many different people as possible to take part in Nolan Live. This means that successful applicants will be allocated tickets to no more than one show in the remaining two programmes in the current series.

Tickets for Nolan Live are strictly non-transferable. All audience members will be required to provide photographic identification. Admission will not be possible otherwise.

As Nolan Live regularly deals with topical news stories we need to do everything that we can to ensure that our studio audience is broadly reflective of the wider community. This means that we need to collect some information about people wishing to take part in these programmes. This information is only being recorded for the person making the ticket application and for the purpose of ticket allocations for this series. Tickets for each programme will be allocated in a proportionate way and broadly consistent with the profile of the Northern Ireland population.

Stephen Nolan

  • A tremendous experience of live television. Many thanks again to Stephen and his team.

  • Really enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. Brilliant.

  • A first class host and interviewer ... [who made] all of us feel most welcome.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive in good time. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
