Due to the unprecedented impact of Coronavirus, BBC One’s flagship political debate programme Question Time is launching a brand-new initiative in an effort to continue to give members of the public the chance to voice their opinions, have their say, share stories, questions and concerns.
The QT50 will see a temporary shift in format where we select an audience panel of 50 members of the general public from across the United Kingdom – the QT50 will appear as virtual audience members over a course of several weeks (maybe months).
To apply, please fill out the application form below. If you are selected for the next stage of the process a member of the Question Time team will be in touch soon. Although we would like to respond to every application, the high volume of submissions does not always allow us to do so. If you do not hear from us, please assume we will not be moving forward with your application at this time.
The Application Form:
Please note that everyone applying to be part of the audience is required to complete this form.
It's important that as many applicants as possible get the chance to be part of a Question Time audience. If you have been in a QT audience within the past ten years, we are delighted that you want to do it all over again, but please give others a chance and don't apply this time round. If you have applied before but not been successful, we welcome your application.
You can also apply by telephone. To do so, call 0330 123 9988.
The information is completely confidential and only used for the purpose of balance. Due to the high volume of requests received we apologise that we are unable to call everyone.
