The BBC is offering extra coverage of this year’s Wimbledon via the Red Button starting on 2nd July.

Up to 16 HD video streams will be available on BBC Sport Online via Connected TV or Mobile and BBC iPlayer, or by pressing Red. All broadcast programmes will be available for 30 days. Along with Red Button 1, five curated Red Button streams will also be available on Sky, Freesat, Freeview HD and Virgin Media, with Red Button 1 in HD on Sky, Freesat and Virgin Media. Action will include the main draw, plus wheelchair tennis and the boys and girls competitions.

You can find out what's happening and what to do to receive it by selecting your platform at the bottom of this page.

Who will be able to receive these streams?

The additional Red Button SD streams being launched on Freeview/Youview will be available to the vast majority of viewers, but a HD receiver is required to access the streams. If you have a HD receiver, and you are unsure if you are in the coverage area, you can check your coverage using the BBC’s Interactive Transmitter Checker tool - http://www.bbc.co.uk/receptionsearch

If you can receive BBC Four HD, then you will be able to watch the additional Red Button SD streams, but you may need to manually re-tune your TV or set-top box to pick them up.

Red Button+ is available on many internet connected TV’s/set-top boxes, Virgin Media and Sky and Freesat boxes if they are connected to the internet.  For more information and guidance, please see our Red Button+ page.
