Help receiving radio
Information and advice about problems with receiving good radio reception on your analogue and digital radio's.
Analogue radio is either FM (frequency modulation) or AM (amplitude modulation). FM is also known as VHF (very high frequency). AM radio is broadcast on long wave (LW), medium wave (MW) and short wave (SW).
Digital radio is more commonly known as DAB. To receive a DAB digital signal you will need different radio - you can't listen on a traditional FM/AM radio unless it has a DAB logo.
