Alternative FM frequencies in North Yorkshire and Teesside

If you have lost your BBC national radio services on FM  since the fire at the Bilsdale transmitter, try re-tuning to a neighbouring transmitter:

Teesside, County Durham

BBC Radio 1 – 98.1 MHz

BBC Radio 2 – 88.5 MHz

BBC Radio 3 – 90.7 MHz

BBC Radio 4 – 92.9 MHz

North Yorkshire

BBC Radio 1 – 98.9 or 99.6 MHz

BBC Radio 2 – 89.3 or 90.2 MHz

BBC Radio 3 – 91.5 or 92.2 MHz

BBC Radio 4 – 93.7 or 94.4 MHz

The signal from more distant transmitters might be significantly weaker. We recommend indoor aerials are fully extended and placed near windows for best results. Switching the radio to mono (if your radio has this feature) can also improve the listening experience in these circumstances.
