ABC-IP work stream

ABC-IP is a work stream focused on a suite of techniques for rapidly unlocking large content archives. It uses the Linked Open Data cloud as its foundation, specifically by using Linked Data URIs as tags. The toolkit includes:

  • Topics from audio
  • Topics from text
  • Speaker segmentation and identification
  • Linking archives with current topics
  • Processing in the cloud
  • Crowdsourcing

Many of the components are available as open source software including RDFSpace, diarize-jruby and ruby-lsh.

ABC-IP started as the TSB-funded Automatic Broadcast Content Interlinking Project but has grown to include other related work around automated metadata processing.
