Putting Hollywood in corsets

Sandy Powell has just been awarded her third Oscar for the costume design on the film The Young Victoria. She was also responsible for the clothes worn in Martin Scorsese's new movie Shutter Island. The stars she has dressed include Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Emily Blunt. She discusses a career which began in the 1980s working alongside Derek Jarman, and researching fashion from different periods of history.
