Chris Evans

Unfortunately the inclement weather has scuppered our plans for broadcasting from the top of the tower! Chris is back doing his show in London, but Jonny and Foxy stayed up to brave the elements and do the business and sport from Blackpool.

Read Chris' blog about his brief Blackpool experience!

Alan Carr

Alan will be a busy bee at Radio 2 Live In Blackpool. Not only will he be switching on the Blackpool Illuminations during the Radio 2 Live At The Lights show, Friday 4 September, 2030 - 2130.

But he'll also be broadcasting his usual Saturday night show, Saturday 5 September, 1800-2000 with Emma Forbes live from a tram travelling up and down Blackpool seafront.
Emma Forbes

Emma has been Alan Carr's co-host on his Radio 2 show, 'Going Out With Alan Carr' every Saturday since April 2009. She also has her own Sunday morning breakfast show.

She'll be joining Alan on the tram during his epic trip up and down the Blackpool seafront, Saturday 5 September, 1800-2000!
Anton Du Beke

Anton Du Beke of Strictly Come Dancing fame presents a special swing Friday Night Is Music Night - the world's longest-running live music programme on radio - live from Blackpool's Opera House.

He'll be joined by the BBC Big Band and special guests Tony Christie, Claire Sweeney, Peter Grant and Paloma Faith. All at 1900-2030 on Friday.
Dermot O'Leary

Although Dermot won't be making the journey up to Blackpool, his special guests, Athlete, will be performing live from the North Pier.

Tune in to hear them play tracks from their new album and some old favourites on Saturday 5 September, 1500 - 1800.
