Researchers suggest new plant-based diet would help avoid a global environmental catastrophe

Scientists believe that following a mainly plant-based diet could save lives, feed 10 billion people and help protect the environment. In a new study published by the Lancet medical journal, academics say that reducing our meat and dairy consumption will help prevent further damage to the planet.
