I've been with the BBC for the last eight years in loads of different jobs - from helping to put together Radio 4's Today Programme to reading the news on Radio 1. Since 2012 I've worked as a reporter on Radio 4 and Newsnight covering everything from the Greek financial crisis to the loss of flight MH370 in Malaysia. I've been sent to Stuttgart, Germany to film inside Europe's largest brothel and to Aberdeen to follow a man thought electro-convulsive therapy. I'm really interested in telling people's stories in different ways, using new technologies like motion graphics and animation to explain difficult, inaccessible subjects. Outside of work I have a three-year-old daughter and another (boy) on the way in June. Wish me luck.
