Julien Baptiste

Julien Baptiste is the lead French investigator in the case of Oliver Hughes’ unsolved disappearance and he cannot let the case go. He is haunted by a troubled relationship from his past and is unable to settle into an easy retirement.

About Tcheky Karyo

Tcheky Karyo is a multi-talented actor and musician. Born in Istanbul and raised in Paris, Tcheky studied drama at the Cyrano Theatre before joining the Daniel Sorano Company and the National Theatre of Strasbourg where he starred in classical and contemporary plays.

Tcheky has had a successful film career in France, starring opposite Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci in the cult favourite Doberman (1997). He also appeared in Luc Besson’s films Jeanne d’Arc (1999) and La Femme Nikita (1990), as well as in Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s A Very Long Engagement (2004).

Tcheky’s other film credits include roles in Ridley Scott’s 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), GoldenEye (1995). Bad Boys (1995), Roland Emmerich’s The Patriot (2000), starring opposite Mel Gibson, The Good Thief (2002) and Emilio Estevez’s The Way (2010), which also features his co-star in The Missing, James Nesbitt.

In 2006 Tcheky released the critically acclaimed album Ce lien qui nous unit and followed this up in 2013 with Credo.
