A book-bound copy of a famous opera by Richard Wagner
Justin is proprietor of an antiquarian bookselling business based in Faversham, Kent and works with collectors, libraries and museums all over the world.
Since joining the Roadshow, one of the most memorable items Justin has recorded was at Manchester Town Hall. It belonged to the Hallé Orchestra archive and was a book-bound copy of a famous opera by Richard Wagner. Although Wagner didn’t actually use the book to conduct (rumour has it he conducted from memory), the book did belong to him and is a significant piece of musical history.
