C Duncan - Architect
Dream-pop meets modern composition

Already showcased by BBC Introducing in Scotland, Glaswegian composer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Duncan has a background in classical music that imbues his music with an almost choral dreaminess.
His debut album, Architect, is fittingly named – Duncan painstakingly assembled each layer of instrumentation and vocal harmony alone in his home studio, and – a skilled painter – even produced the cover art. The album's gentle, reverberated tones invoke a sun-drenched Fleet Foxes given a sprinkling of whimsy by Grizzly Bear or Jim Noir. It’s an enchanting concoction.
What the critics say
"He seamlessly merges interweaving vocals with the sounds of pastoral English folk and lush, 4ADesque dreampop." - The Guardian
"Much like an architect, C Duncan is an artist of creative design, and what he's produced is positively palatial" - The Line of Best Fit
