Child social care: ‘For me being in care was like a never ending storm’

Thousands more children could end up in care without radical changes to child protection.

A review into Children’s social care in England has called for an investment of over £2.6 billion in the next five years, to transform the system that will prevent the number of children ending up in care- which is already at record levels rising above 100,000

Today's Justin Webb spoke to Henrietta Imoreh who was placed into care at age 14, now aged 27 she believes her life would have been different if her mother had been offered help earlier, and Josh MacAlister, a former teacher who led the government-commissioned review.
